Football - 1996

Cantor played halfback for the UCLA Bruins 1938-1940. He was selected by football historian Dr. L.H. Baker (the gridiron’s leading historian pre-1960) as a member of UCLA’s All-Time Team.

Cantor played professionally with the New York Giants in 1942 and, following service in the U.S. Armed Forces, in 1945 with the Chicago Cardinals.
