Steve Hartman is a familiar TV sports reporter and radio sportscaster, calling numerous Southern California sports events. A former sports editor of UCLA’s Daily Bruin, 1978-1979, he also served two seasons as UCLA football’s radio ‘color’ commentator.

* A fixture on KCBS’ (Channel 2) Sports Central telecasts (with Jim Hill) since 1998.
* Co-hosted since 1989 the top-rated Southern California radio series “Loose Cannon Talk,” with veteran Los Angeles sportswriter-broadcaster Bud Furillo.
* Steve and his KCBS group were twice voted “Best Local Sports TV Team” by the Southern California Sports Broadcasters Association.
